What’s here
Every tool runs on the same database: every field-goal attempt and every trip to the free-throw line since 1996–97, rebuilt from play-by-play rather than estimated from the box score.
That matters most for true shooting. The conventional formula estimates free-throw trips as 0.44 × FTA. Counting the trips exactly removes the estimate, and the gap is largest for the players who draw the most contact.
